MY JOURNEY TO FREEMASONRY

I would like to share a brief personal story with you. My name is Luis Día, and I want to tell you how I started my journey in Freemasonry.     In November 2017, I had the opportunity to return to my homeland, Cuba, as an adult. I wanted to visit my relatives and recall my family's history. That's when I discovered that my grandfather and uncle were Master Masons. My uncle invited me to visit his Lodge, and I was impressed by the love and affection I received.     Although I couldn't return to the Lodge due to my return to the United States, my uncle's passing a few months later motivated me to investigate the mystery of Freemasonry. I searched for a Blue Lodge in my city and, upon finding it, I was received with the same love and respect I had experienced in Cuba.     This experience led me to ask: what is Freemasonry? Freemasonry is a philosophical, ethical, and worldwide membership organization that promotes fraternity, equality, and social progress. It is based on moral teachings and seeks to promote moral and intellectual progress in individuals.     I joined this fraternity for all these reasons, and I am very proud to be a part of it. I invite you to learn more about Freemasonry and discover its rich history and philosophy.
